Hey there! Thanks for taking a moment to peruse the site and consider us for your beauty needs.

I started doing professional hair and makeup in the early 2000s. This industry has most certainly blown up with talent over the years and we’re honored to still be a thriving team that many choose.

I typically like a soft approach with colors and styles, making females feel comfortable in their own skin. For events such as a wedding, I’ve found that most want an elevated version of themselves and not something too out of the box. We want to make sure each client leaves the chair feeling gorgeous and confident.

I am a native to Charlotte however we travel all over… the furthest being Greece!

If you don't feel beautiful when the spotlight is on you, it shows. Let's make sure you feel and look like the best version of you!

It’s a big decision, we know you’re gonna need some quick answers, most of which are found here!

Do you travel to the client?

Yes! For the free trial run you'll come to my home studio in Ballantyne {Charlotte, NC}. For the rest I can come to you! If you're outside of the local area, no worries, we'll custom quote you for travel/accommodations.

Does it take a long time for hair/makeup?

Honestly, no! We allot 90 mins for the bride on wedding day to do her hair and makeup; 30 mins for any other service, whether hair or makeup. We offer touch-ups to everyone at the end so every style is fresh and perfect.

How many services can you accommodate?

We've done as many as 26 services in just one wedding day however our sweet spot is 12 or fewer services. This ensures I (Heather) am your lead artist and I don’t necessarily have to rely on contracting a 2nd stylist/artist.

Does the bride receive a practice session?

Absolutely. We want to be as comfortable on wedding day as the bride. With booking, the bride receives a free hour long trial where we'll compare styles and palettes to make sure it's perfect.

What type of products do you use?

All of them. Seriously we have so many it would be impossible to name....AND we change up our kits sporadically as we find new favorites.

If you’re wanting to use your own makeup brands, we’re totally fine with that also. We of course just can’t guarantee their benefits or quality having perhaps not used them.

Heather was amazing! I'd recommend her to anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup. She really understood exactly what I was looking for (updo with natural glowy makeup) and made me feel so amazing on the big day! My bridesmaids also raved about how pretty they felt and how perfect their hair turned out (that doesn't usually happen with 7 girls)! Heather was nice, professional, and fun to hangout with when we were all getting ready too!! Heather made us all look and feel beautiful, and I'm beyond happy I chose the Look!! :)

I am so happy that I hired Heather to do my wedding hair and make-up. It is something I would do again if I had it to do all over. My make-up was flawless. And I was a little nervous to wear fase lashes, but I couldn't even tell I had them on (though they looked great!) After our trial, I wanted to change my hair style. We discussed it the day of the wedding, and I ended up loving how it looked. It worked perfectly with my veil, and held up all night. Heather also did my bridesmaids' hair, and they all looked gorgeous. When you work with her, it is obvious that you are in the hands of seasoned professional. It was a great experience.
